GelX or Hard gel?GelX and hard gel are both nail enhancement techniques that require curing under a UV lamp. However, they differ in application and removal methods. GelX features full-coverage extensions that are applied over the entire nail, making it ideal for those with short nails who want added length. In contrast, hard gel is applied directly onto the natural nail, making it a great choice for those who 's satisfied with their nail length. Hard gel provides a thicker, more structured finish. GelX is transparent and generally thinner. Hard gel cannot be soaked off and must be professionally removed using an e-file drill. GelX can be soaked off, though some e-filing is still required. Dry manicure VS Wet manicureA dry manicure, also known as a Russian manicure, is a modern, water-free technique that has gained popularity in recent years for its precision and hygiene. Instead of soaking the nails, this method uses an electric drill with professional cuticle bits to gently push the cuticle away from the nail bed. A cuticle nipper is then used to carefully trim excess cuticle edges with precision, reducing the risk of bleeding caused by human error. Additionally, the invisible cuticle layer around the nail is buffed away, creating a cleaner nail bed that enhances gel polish adhesion for a longer-lasting manicure. One of the key advantages of a dry manicure is its ability to prevent waterborne infections. Traditional manicures involve soaking the hands in water, which can create a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi, increasing the risk of contamination. By eliminating water exposure, a dry manicure significantly reduces the chances of cross-contamination, making it a safer and more hygienic option. In contrast, a traditional manicure( wet mani ) often results in bleeding due to the unclear distinction between the cuticle and surrounding skin. Additionally, a traditional manicure may leave behind an invisible cuticle layer, which can compromise gel polish adhesion and affect its durability.

What is refill?Refill is designed for nail sets that are typically 2 to 4 weeks old. As your natural nails grow, gaps form near the cuticle, and this treatment fills in those areas to refresh and maintain your manicure. The process usually includes removing the current polish, reshaping the nails, applying hard gel to the new growth, and finishing with buffing, shaping, and a fresh top coat or polish.
-
Do I need a removal?Minimal Removal: Removal for a 4+ week-old nail set is free for former clients. This applies when more than 1/3 of your natural nail bed has grown out, or if your previous nail set is less than 4 week old but has barely remained. Note: Regular no-chip manicure (without nail enhancements) removal is always free. Heavy removal: Former Clients: Removal for a 1–4 week-old Gel-X/hard gel set is $10, unless the majority of the previous nails have fallen off, then removal is free. External Clients: Removal for Gel-X, hard gel, acrylic and dipping nail set is $25, unless only minimal nail remains. *The removal price will be determined at the appointment. Please book the correct service to allow for a reasonable time frame. *Please select 'no removal' if choose refill services.

Is the price displayed in booking summary the final price? Not necessarily. The price displayed in the booking summary is an estimate of your total bill. Since nail art add-on prices vary based on design complexity, the final price will be determined in person. It may be slightly higher or lower than the listed price, but the difference will not exceed $15 normally.
